Accounts and security

A fake or stub login is fine for a private demo. Before real users store anything, use a reputable authentication service, add password recovery, and offer two-factor authentication or passkeys when the information warrants it. Never ask the AI to invent its own encryption.

Data and privacy

Decide what truly needs to be collected, where it lives, who can see it, and how it is deleted. Add backups before the data becomes important. Health, financial, children’s, and other sensitive information deserves extra care.

Publishing and reliability

Ask your AI to compare simple hosting options for this exact project. Before sharing widely, test on a phone and another computer, add clear error messages, and make sure the project still works after a restart.

Accessibility and feedback

Check keyboard navigation, readable contrast, labels, and useful text at different screen sizes. Invite a few people—including people unlike you—to try it and tell you where it is confusing.
